Inspections in service
Cochrane’s most affordable Out of Province Inspection, only $179 + shop supplies and taxes
If your vehicle is registered outside Alberta, it must pass an Out of Province Inspection (O.P.I.) before Alberta licence plates can be issued.
At Cochrane Nissan, our licensed journeyperson technicians are certified through Alberta’s Vehicle Inspection Program to perform these inspections and ensure your vehicle meets all provincial safety and equipment standards.

Why an Out of Province Inspection is Required
- Confirms your vehicle is safe and compliant with Alberta regulations
- Must be done at a licensed inspection facility
- Takes about 2 hours on average (depending on the vehicle)
- Only $179 + shop supplies and taxes
